The Wall Street Journal is seeking a Enterprise Audience Editor who would be responsible for ensuring that our journalism is poised for maximum success, in particular through helping manage our biggest and most impactful projects.
The core of the job would be to ensure the most readers possible see our best work, through a focus on format, distribution, data and the latest in newsroom strategy. You would also be charged with helping develop new formats to help expand the ways we tell stories.
You have:
-Exceptional organizational skills
-Familiarity with data analytics
-Digital savvy
-The ability to spot new formats before they hit the mainstream
-The ability to successfully translate these ideas for the newsroom
You will:
-Ensure our daily work reaches the biggest audience possible by working with a talented team of editors to develop the best possible headlines, social and alert language.
-Develop new ways of telling stories
-Project manage our biggest efforts
While you may start remotely, this position will eventually be based in our New York office. You will report to Chief Enterprise Editor Matthew Rose.
