The Show
The Journal is a daily narrative, award winning news podcast made in partnership between The Wall Street Journal and Spotify. Each day, we tell one important news story in 15-20 minutes. Our show focuses on money and business, applying those lenses to general news or zooming in on business stories that other outlets do not tell. We have covered everything from Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter to the battle over the Taco Tuesday trademark, the wars in Ukraine and Gaza to the UAW’s strike against the automakers. The Journal publishes several series each year that probe everything from Facebook and OpenAI to a deep-dives into the Marvel cinematic universe, the new weight-loss drugs like Ozempic and the trial of FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried.
