Role Overview:
As our Media Reporter, you will be the go-to expert for covering the moves of the media industry and analyzing those moves through deeply reported pieces. This includes digital media, the intersection of AI and media, cable and broadcast news and media coverage of the 2024 election. You’ll dissect major industry shifts, uncover the hidden stories behind media moguls’ decisions, and highlight the ramifications of media moves. Your reporting will provide clarity and context to our readers, offering them a comprehensive view of how the media landscape is changing.
New York location is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Breaking News Coverage: Provide timely, accurate, and compelling coverage of media industry developments.
- In-Depth Reporting: Conduct thorough investigations and feature stories that reveal the underlying forces shaping media. From boardroom battles to policy impacts, your reporting will be insightful and comprehensive.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in journalism, with a proven track record of covering media. Experience in a high-profile media organization is a plus.
