Responsibilities:

As a Senior Reporter, you will help drive our coverage strategy, build a network of contacts, learn about market dynamics, and gain a strong understanding of the energy and financial sectors. You will have an opportunity to expand our energy news coverage and build readership throughout the industry.

The breadth of financial and industry data provided by S&P Global is available to our editorial teams to further enhance reporting and add deep context to enterprise stories.

Senior reporters also participate on S&P Global podcasts, webinars and other media channels.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional journalism experience.
  • Strong writing and reporting skills, along with excellent news judgement.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute story ideas.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of renewable energy markets and financials.
  • Knowledge of international renewable energy developments and trends.
  • Demonstrated analytical and data visualization experience.
  • Experience participating in panels, podcasts and other media.
