Reuters seeks a European security correspondent in Brussels

Reuters is looking for an outstanding journalist to cover European security during a critical moment for the region. With war raging in Ukraine, NATO bolstering forces on its eastern flank and governments ramping up defence spending, security has surged to the top of Europe’s political agenda.

Based in Brussels, this person will be part of a pan-European team that aims to deliver agenda-setting coverage of Europe’s security and the region’s role in geopolitics. Stories they would cover could range from breaking news on military aid to Ukraine to investigative pieces on Europe’s militaries or analysis of geopolitical tensions with China.

The successful candidate will work with Reuters reporters around the world and help the Brussels bureau with broader coverage of the European Union as and when required.
