Providence Business News seeks a reporter

Providence Business News, southern New England’s leading business publication, is looking for an enterprising, energetic reporter to help cover one of the nation’s most diverse business communities.

From finance to manufacturing and health care, and government to tourism and technology, Providence and the surrounding region provide an endless variety of stories. PBN breaks news, but we also take the time to help the business community understand what is happening in the state and why it matters to them.

We’re looking for a talented journalist and self-starter who is familiar with AP style, has some experience with beat reporting and is willing to learn and be part of a team. Strong writing skills and a desire to tell stories are also pluses.

We offer competitive benefits and a hybrid remote/office work schedule. PBN is locally owned, meaning we care about this community; it is where we live.

Email resume and writing samples to Editor Mike Mello at editor@pbn.com. No phone calls.
