In Business seeks an editor in chief

At In Business, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality journalism that engages and informs our community. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Editor-in-Chief to lead our editorial team, oversee content creation, and represent our organization within the community.

The Editor-in-Chief will manage editorial functions across print, digital, and social media platforms, ensuring high-quality journalism. This role involves developing and implementing editorial strategies, overseeing content creation and daily e-newsletter publication, and maintaining an active presence in community and business events.

The Editor-in-Chief will also manage the editorial budget, supervise and mentor the editorial team, and collaborate with other departments while adhering to company policies and industry standards.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
