Are the kind of reporter who relishes a challenge? What about tackling the $1.4 trillion system for insuring the health of tens of millions of Americans? Join us, and you’ll plumb the byzantine depths of the U.S. health care insurance industry. We write about some of its biggest companies, such as UnitedHealth, Humana, Cigna and Kaiser. We want to know about their acquisitions, strategies, layoffs … and we want to go deeper, much deeper, than routine news releases.

Some of your responsibilities:
- Report and write about four articles per week and create video content based on interviews
- Show your expertise on the subject matter by writing with clarity, insight and depth
- Establish and maintain close relationships with insurance executives and their companies
- Travel to industry events and meet with prospects to stay on top of the latest industry trends
