Detroit News seeks a business reporter

The Detroit News seeks a determined and curious business reporter to join its dedicated team of journalists — emphasis on team — to cover the Michigan economy and major companies outside the core auto industry.

The successful candidate will generate compelling enterprise stories on Michigan’s complex economy, its businesses and their leaders to reveal critical issues relevant to our readership in Michigan and nationally.

The successful candidate also would be able to do fast-paced reporting to break stories on a variety of subjects with our award-winning business & autos team. Comfort working collaboratively is strongly desired.
