This position requires a driven personality who can generate insightful reporting for a sophisticated and engaged audience of entrepreneurs.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey stories clearly and accurately to their audience.
- Research skills to dig into details, verify facts, and uncover new information that contributes to the depth and accuracy of stories.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with sources and contacts, and to conduct interviews professionally and empathetically.
- Time management skills to handle multiple stories, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to breaking news situations.
- Critical thinking skills to analyze and interpret information, discern fact from opinion, and present complex issues in an understandable way.
- Awareness of ethical journalism standards and legal boundaries, ensuring all content is fair, accurate and legal.
- Knowledge of various recording and editing software platforms for news gathering and content production
- Minimum 1 year experience in a newsroom or reporting environment.
- The ability to find unique angles on trending stories
