Bloomberg TV seeks a line producer in London

Bloomberg TV is looking for a senior-level line producer to join our EMEA production team. The position is based in London and will be focused on our live morning news shows. Experience in a news interviews show format is highly desirable.

We’ll trust you to:

  •  Build a rundown in collaboration with senior producers and anchors
  •  Assign stories to producers and supervise their work
  •  Work with directors and studio operations staff to create outstanding television
  •  Put the show to air from the control room and handle breaking news
  •  Select markets, finance, economics and policy stories important to our clients
  •  Produce content that can be used across Bloomberg’s media platforms

You’ll need to have:

  •  A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  •  Experience as a line producer in a live news environment
  •  Strong editorial, storytelling, and communication skills
  •  Knowledge of business news, economics & financial markets
  •  Organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  •  Flexibility with working hours to accommodate production schedules

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
