Bloomberg News is looking for an accomplished editor to lead a team of investigative journalists working in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This London-based position will work closely with a number of experienced and skilled reporters to produce ground-breaking enterprise and accountability reporting. Experience in investigative journalism, longform storytelling and multiplatform presentation is required, as are strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills and a robust work ethic.

Focus the team’s energy on timely investigations into the most important issues and events of our times
Produce journalism with profound impact: We aim to change minds, laws and public conversations on the topics we explore
Foster collaboration and diversity within the team and across Bloomberg News
Encourage and support team members’ professional development and innovation in reporting and storytelling
Be adept at seamlessly incorporating sophisticated data-journalism techniques into a wide array of story subjects and forms
Set and enforce high standards for team members’ journalism and professional conduct
Work effectively with Bloomberg’s premiere reporting showcases, including Big Take, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Green magazine and Bloomberg Markets, as well as with the regional editing hubs
You’ll need to have:

Ability to juggle complex projects
