FTCWatch, a twice-monthly publication, is seeking a senior reporter to cover the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and related matters.

This position involves working with a team of reporters to provide thoughtful, exclusive journalism for finance, investment and legal professionals. Familiarity with the US regulatory process, especially as it involves competition and consumer protection, is required.

We’re looking for someone with a college degree, preferably in law or journalism, and five-plus years reporting experience. A demonstrated background of reporting on the federal government is required, as is the ability to fashion articles characterized by incisive analysis and deep reporting. Experience with the Federal Trade Commission, either as a journalist or an agency insider, is a plus.

Interested applicants should contact Managing Editor Tony Cooke at cooke@mlex.com and Deputy Managing Editor Lesette Heath at heath@mlex.com.
