PG Specialist is a subscription-based, digital publication that’s part of the Financial Times company. We write to and about the food and beverage consumer packaged goods industry.
We are looking for a summer intern to assist the managing editor, associate editor and senior reporter in covering the business side of the CPG industry. The intern will be responsible for developing journalist skills, as well as beat-specific knowledge, to produce articles over the course of the 10-week paid internship. The intern will report to the associate editor.
Primary responsibilities will be tailored to the intern. They can include items such as:
The ideal candidate will crave hands-on work, preferring to build skills by jumping right into the action. A desire to learn about financial/business journalism is a must. We also seek an intern who is adept at time management, has excellent communication skills and can take ownership of their professional development, as the managing editor and associate editor work fully remotely and cannot meet in person on a regular basis. We welcome candidates of all backgrounds.
Salary: $15.00/hr
