The successful candidate will be able to get to grips quickly with a complicated, diverse sector of the finance industry, while showing an ability to build a wide array of sources in and around some of the world’s most secretive companies.
They will be expected to deliver high-impact scoops and in-depth reporting about the inner workings of the industry, its most powerful players and their dealmaking. This is a key time to take on the beat, as an industry that has become a major force in global finance faces up to fundamentally different conditions.
This person will work closely with our team of reporters globally covering corporate finance and dealmaking including Kaye Wiggins, Robert Smith, Ortenca Aliaj, Antoine Gara and Eric Platt as well as our broader financial services and markets teams.
Contributing regularly to the Due Diligence newsletter as well as other initiatives such as conferences is essential.
