Enthusiasm for online journalism and blogging is essential, as is a keen interest in all things financial.
You’ll bring creativity, humour and a thick skin. Strong knowledge of economics, finance or corporate life is a plus, as is podcasting experience.
You’ll thrive given the opportunity to follow your nose. You might even be able to find your way around a spreadsheet, bond prospectuses, or data dumps at the Fed.
To apply, we’ll give you a choice:
Option 1, send a CV and cover letter to alphaville@ft.com, along with three ideas to make Alphaville better.
Option 2, send us a short unpublished post that you think would work well on the site.
The position will be based in the FT’s office in Tribeca. We can offer you freedom, the chance to dig deep into fascinating subjects, friendly colleagues and an intelligent audience.
Short-listed candidates may face a writing test.
Applications should be emailed to alphaville@ft.com by April 6.
