Fresno-Business-JournalThe Business Journal in Fresno is looking for a smart, self-motivated reporter to cover B2B news in the Central San Joaquin Valley of California.

We seek someone who has strong print journalism skills and is also familiar with online and social media best practices. Business reporting experience is preferred. Multimedia reporting is a bonus.

Key duties: • Cultivating relationships with sources that lead to breaking news • Contributing analytical/trend stories for the weekly print edition • Updating thebusinessjournal.com with daily wire and original stories • Developing and growing an audience across all platforms

The Business Journal is an independent, family-owned publishing company founded in 1886 and based in Fresno, California. Our journalism has earned awards from the local to national level, and the newsroom prides itself on being lean and mean. We have the independence to move fast and break news as well as drill down deep for the analysis business owners and executives need.
