The Daily Dot is looking for writers

We are looking for another batch of pitches at the intersection of internet culture, sports, race for our Presser project at The Daily Dot.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

A part of the ESPN+ Black History Always Collection, Presser is The Daily Dot’s dedicated section that dissects internet culture and features minority figures shaping society, from creators to activists to amateurs to pros, untangling game-changing new issues and solutions.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  • Write a short introduction about yourself
  • Include a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.

COMPENSATION

  • ~$450+ per article- 800-1200 words, ~1-3 sources
