Inverse is looking for pitches for a spring special issue called Love Games, focusing on the most memorable romances, thirst traps, unsinkable ships, and sexy mods in video games. Deadline for pitches is 3/18.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Inverse aims to spark curiosity about the future. It explores the science of anything, innovations that shape tomorrow, and ideas that stretch our minds. It covers topics such as technology, science, and culture for a millennial audience.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  • Write a short introduction about yourself
  • Include a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.

COMPENSATION

  • Rates start at $150 for blogs, listicles and essays, $300+ for interviews, and $500+ for longform features or oral histories with multiple sources.
