Input is looking for writers to help do style, fashion, streetwear things at Input. I need writers with experience to do stories about sneakers, clothes, and the intersection between fashion and music. I also need someone to own style how-tos and guides.

Input is a technology and culture publication that investigates the objects, ideas, people, companies, and trends that are shaping the future—from what’s happening in streetwear to what’s next in VR.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Input is looking for writers to help me do cool style, fashion, streetwear things at Input. I need writers with experience to do stories about sneakers, clothes, and the intersection between fashion and music. I also need someone to own style how-tos and guides.

I’m also hiring freelance contractors to help me build out our Input Design section. Can you write about the people behind car design, or how to make your home better with furniture, plants or other cool things? Email me! Must have writing experience.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  • A cover letter explaining how you meet the requirements for the job/gig
  • Write a one-paragraph summary of your relevant experience, credentials and publication credits
  • Attach your strongest clips or links to published work
  • Include a resume detailing your writing experience.

COMPENSATION

  • $.50-$1 per word, or flat fees starting at $300 for how-tos and guides.
