Eat, Drink, and Do Good is looking for writers who have a unique POV on a social justice related topic.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Eat, Drink, and Do Good is a monthly newsletter that features fresh thought pieces on social justice written by emerging writers. Past issues have covered everything from gift economies and food apartheid to healthcare discrimination and ableism. Its goal is for these articles to offer critical analyses that engage common social justice topics on a deeper level.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN SUBMISSION

  • Write a short introduction about yourself
  • Include a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.

COMPENSATION

  • $100 for the piece plus $50 for accompanying audio/video content (e.g., a voice recording of the writer reading the piece aloud).
