Currently, my website ComicStans is in need of at least one to two editors who can help me keep up with the demand. I have other sites that I might be able to use you for as well.
On top of this, the site is always looking for talented writers. We actually need them due to the freelance turnover that happens a lot.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Welcome to Comic Stans! In this column we discuss comics and comic characters that represent different communities and answer questions about comics for those who might be interested in getting into the comic genre!
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for writers who have knowledge of and have written on the following topics:
While I do have some great writers on my staff now, the type of articles we do can take time to write due to the research needed for them. However, I will also be needing shorter content as well. Writers I decide to hire will do a bit of both.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Ideal candidates for either the Writer or Editor positions will need to be experienced, but writers less so than editors.
I’d like for anyone putting in for the Editor position to have an editing background or an extensive writing background. That means either a minimum of 1 to 2 years as an editor online and/or roughly 5 years as a writer online.
Anyone putting in for the open writer positions will need to have at least a year or two of writing experience online.
