Fox Television Stations seeks a news reporter, KTVU FOX2

Come join the Bay Area’s top rated news station KTVU FOX 2 is seeking individuals that have a respect for journalism and want to be part of the station’s best in class reporting, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes We are currently searching for an experienced Reporter with strong live reporting skills. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must be a strong writer and storyteller with the ability to convey information to viewers in a conversational manner.
  • Must be knowledgeable about current events and be able to collaborate with newsroom on editorial direction and presentation.
  • Must be able to report on breaking news and other developing stories with little assistance from production crews.
  • Must be able to handle high stress environment while staying calm on air and behind the scenes.
  • Must be able to discuss current events unscripted during the course of a live broadcast.
  • Must understand media consumption on digital platforms and be able to adjust content where necessary.
  • Other duties assigned as deemed appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma is required; 4-year College degree is preferred.
  • Candidate should have 3 to 5 years’ experience with fast-paced television productions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.

Salary: $49.75 per hour
