Fox Business seeks an associate producer

Fox Business is looking for a highly motivated, pro-active, and creative Associate Producer to join the Fox Business Network.

In this role you will work closely with a reporter on daily stories and be asked to help do background reporting on those stories. You will also coordinate with show units to arrange on-air hits for the reporter with graphic and visual elements for the story.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with the reporter and show teams on daily news stories.
Identify news, select video and sound bites, oversee editing, conduct interviews and write stories for television and the internet
Pitch stories daily

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

A bachelor’s degree and or relevant work experience
2 years of experience in television production
Strong writing skills and editorial judgment
A passion for live news
Very strong work ethic

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill.
