  • A nose for identifying unusual or unexpected developments and engaging framings
  • Experience using reader data to inform and inspire story choices
  • Experience using Datawrapper (not required, but a plus)

In this role, you will:

  • Cover the biggest European business stories of the day
  • Monitor various resources to keep a finger on the news pulse
  • Concisely connect the dots between various pieces of data and corporate events
  • Work quickly and collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team
  • Interview story subjects and experts as well as conduct thorough research
  • Speedily file clean copy with close attention to detail and accuracy
