Forbes seeks staff writers in London

Forbes Media is looking for staff writers to join its reporting team in London.

These are key positions covering Financial Technology (fintech), Property and Retail, the most exciting and dynamic sectors of the European economy.

The roles will focus on marquee companies including leading European banks, fintech startups, retail and property companies depending on the candidate’s strengths and interests and the London bureau’s needs.

The candidate would be joining an award-winning team of journalists on one of the most competitive beats in business journalism.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • The position affords the right candidate the opportunity to write short and long form articles for Forbes.com and Forbes magazine, and to experiment with new digital storytelling formats for mobile platforms.
  • The ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter with a demonstrated ability to develop stories and sources and chase scoops.
  • While experience covering these beats is preferred, it is not required – but an interest and curiosity for understanding and explaining how these industries is changing the way we work, communicate, entertain ourselves and live is a must.
