The job is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the most intense, news-driven bureaus in the FT, as Donald Trump heads into his 2020 re-election campaign. Mr Trump has upended US trade policy since taking office, launching a bruising trade war with China, locking horns with the EU and Japan, and negotiating a new deal with Canada and Mexico that is facing big roadblocks in Congress. It will invite outside guest experts to offer their take, and will speak to key players.
