Financial Post seeks reporter in Toronto

The National Post, an award winning Canadian newspaper, is looking for a Business Reporter to join the Financial Post at its head office in Toronto, Canada.

Working with a team of passionate and dedicated financial reporters and columnists the successful candidate will cover breaking news and develop feature packages for both print and online.

The ideal candidate will build on an already impressive network of sources to develop unique story ideas, scoops and investigative pieces.

The reporter will be capable of shifting between the writing of long-form industry features, executive profiles, analysis pieces, and breaking news.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 5 years reporting or editing for a major daily, newswire or Internet based business news outlet;

  • A post-secondary degree in journalism and/or a field relevant to the business world;
  • Experience working across content platforms and filing multimedia reports.
