Financial News is an award-winning Dow Jones publication that beats with the pulse of the City’s agenda. From innovation to regulation, fintech and crypto, the City now underpins the growth of the booming new financial technology sector. We are looking for a dynamic fintech correspondent to do deep dives and break new ground.

In this space where news hits Twitter faster than the markets can react, you will lead coverage and stay ahead of competitors with scoops and insights about new deals and regulatory developments as they impact, while also authoritatively unpacking what it will mean for banks, traders, asset managers, hedge funds and investors.

As a disciplined self-starter with a fierce passion for churning out fresh ideas and owning the best sector coverage, you will profile key influencers, including the City’s most compelling executives, while being first to market with colourful stories about the newest entrants.

You would thrive with FN’s pace, comfortable producing quick-turnaround items of breaking news alongside work on high-value enterprise features.

The FN Crypto page and weekly Fintech Files newsletter will become your primary vehicles with which to break the biggest stories in the sector and grow FN’s audience and influence.

Collaboration is also vital, as you would work closely with FN’s online editors and within a wider team. Opportunities to help produce podcasts and events as an extension of FN and your personal brand are also available.

Financial News is part of Barron’s Group, which also includes the acclaimed publications Barron’s and Marketwatch.
