Our ideal candidate has top-notch project management and editing skills. The Assistant Editor/Special Sections Editor is responsible for every aspect of coordinating and editing a range of publications, including event special sections such as Attorneys of the Year or Top Women in Finance.
The Assistant Editor/Special Sections Editor should also be able to assist with the editing and proofing of the print and online versions of Finance & Commerce and Minnesota Lawyer. The position requires good eye for news and the ability to write headlines.
The candidate should have the proven ability to work independently, to meet an array of deadlines, and to work with freelance writers and our production team on section design. Three years of experience is required.
The position is based in Minneapolis. We are currently working remotely and anticipate a flex schedule in the future. Please include a cover letter along with samples of your work.
