We are looking for a Content Writer with Commercial Insurance Industry experience to join our team and enrich our clients’ campaigns with new blog posts, web content, and email copy.


Farotech, a leading digital marketing agency in the Philadelphia area, has a dedicated team of Content Writers who are responsible for creating content associated with each client’s specific needs.


A content writer is responsible for creating content associated with a client’s specific needs. A Farotech writer must be diligent, strongly committed to timelines (beating them, not meeting them), and flexible for communication and strategies. In addition, you must have strong writing and editing skills, research abilities, and the willingness to give and receive feedback and constructive criticism. As Farotech grows and changes, we expect all staff including writers to be able to adapt and grow with us.

We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, writing and editing skills, research abilities, and a willingness to give and receive feedback and constructive criticism. If you’re familiar with producing online content in the insurance industry and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our clients’ audiences, attract customers, and boost brand awareness, and join a fantastic team!


  • Write clear marketing copy to promote our clients’ products/services. Most writing will take the form of blogs, emails, and web content, approximately 800-1000 words in length.
  • All assignments have set deadlines. Beat them!
  • Follow Farotech’s SEO guidelines for proven success.
  • Conduct research as needed.
  • Communicate effectively through email, Skype, or phone.
  • Submit work to editors for input and approval, using our project management software, Teamwork.
  • Coordinate with project managers, account managers as needed.
  • Use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.


  • 3+ years of work experience as a Content Writer or Copywriter.
  • Commercial insurance industry experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Writing or Journalism is ideal, or at least 5+ years of relevant writing experience.
  • Fluency in insurance industry jargon is essential.
  • Understanding of the following commercial insurance products sold to businesses, organizations, and non-profits:Commercial Lines, such as commercial auto, entertainment and recreational, habitational, outdoor products, special events, etc.
    Management and Professional Liability
    Surety Bonds
    Excess and Surplus
    Accident and Health
  • Must provide writing samples, links to relevant work, or website with relevant work to be considered. Please submit with your application.
  • Experience doing research using multiple sources
  • Familiarity with web publications
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. Teamwork)
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field

  • Include a paragraph highlighting your writing experience, relevant credentials and publication credits
  • Attach links to your strongest work or portfolio, and online profile.


  •  $35-$65 an hour
