Entrepreneur seeks assistant editor

entrepreneur-magazine-november_2012 Entrepreneur Media, the country’s leading destination for innovators and business thought leaders, is seeking an assistant editor as it expands Entrepreneur.com, the website for its flagship title, Entrepreneur Magazine.

We’re looking for an assistant editor to help edit Entrepreneur’s esteemed network of contributors. The successful candidate will have some editing and writing experience, an eye for scouting talent, and a knack for working with writers to assign buzzy content that readers want to share and discuss.

A background in business journalism is not required, but preferred.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
