Endpoints News is seeking a UK-based journalist to help lead our coverage of the biotech and pharma industries.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for covering some of the biggest biopharma stories of the day, identifying angles, and setting the agenda that leads our early coverage. This can be everything from coverage of a medical study that will change the fortunes of patients, to a major M&A deal, a scientific breakthrough, or a C-suite shakeup.
The right candidate has deep knowledge of biopharma, science, and business, and experience covering those topics as a journalist. You should want to be a newsroom leader from a reporter’s seat who is excited to work with a nimble, ambitious team based around the globe. A robust source list, strong clips, and a rich set of ideas are a must.
In a typical week, you’ll cover breaking news stories, work on longer-term projects, and collaborate closely with our London-based team as well as our group in the US. During morning crunch times, you’ll also lend a hand on editing for an hour or two. We run a fast-paced newsroom, and the right candidates will thrive on the deadline. Prior newsroom experience is a necessity.
