Dow Jones is hiring for a versatile reporter as part of its real-time news service for financial professionals. The role reports to the deputy chief news editor.
The reporter will monitor press releases, websites and other sources of news and send headlines and short stories on key developments for publication in real time. Accuracy, speed, excellent news judgement and a close eye for detail are essential.
Reporters will also do some text translation and media monitoring, and could be asked to crunch data for analysis that might lead to stories.
