Dow Jones seeks digital editor/producer for real estate coverage

Dow Jones seeks a digital editor/producer with an interest in real estate. This person will maintain the look and feel of a digital real estate vertical day-to-day, optimizing display across digital platforms.

The editor will also produce multimedia features about the global market for luxury homes. The successful candidate must have strong attention to detail, a strict commitment to integrity and accuracy in their work and good organizational, research and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce compelling and original multimedia features each day, from beautiful slideshows to engaging interactives
  • Collaborate with editorial team to conceive ideas for these multimedia features
  • Handle requests for photo and video to accompany original stories
  • Option to write articles with insights into the global market for luxury homes

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years experience in digital content creation and production
  • Sharp editorial judgment and solid writing skills
  • Comfort working under daily deadlines
  • Ability to program and optimize content (SEO)
  • Basic visuals editing/processing skills (comfort with web-based graphics tools, CMS, Photoshop)
  • Interest in high-end real estate a plus
