Dow Jones seeks copy editor in London

The London NewsPlus desk seeks a copy editor to join the team that compiles content for and manages the Web-based front page for Dow Jones Newswires.

Working on a shift-based system that includes some unsociable hours, the successful candidate will join a group of editors who choose the best breaking news and analysis from across Dow Jones and present them in summary form for market professionals.

You will need to be comfortable working in a digital news environment and be able to make stories shine. The role includes compiling several market briefings and summaries.

Additionally, there will be opportunities to contribute to other Dow Jones platforms, such as wsj.com and mobile. You will have a sound understanding of financial markets and corporate news and some previous reporting experience would be an advantage.

Please note only candidates requested for interview will be contacted.
