Dow Jones Newswires seeks real-time reporter

Dow Jones Newswires, the real-time professional news service of The Wall Street Journal, is looking for a dynamic, fast reporter to cover company-related breaking news for the world’s most influential investors. This job positions you on the front line of our real-time coverage, writing stories about mergers and acquisitions, executive changes and quarterly earnings for some of the most important companies on the planet.

Our stories are the first bearer of smart news for traders reading from their terminals and often hold the top spot on WSJ.com and the front page of The Wall Street Journal. In short, this is an opportunity to write market-leading breaking news for the global authority in financial journalism.

You should be able to digest numbers and information quickly and turn them into a story for a diverse mix of sophisticated market professionals around the world. You must be sharp, adept and adaptable – in your reporting, personality and grasp of technology.
