You will bring deep knowledge of companies, investing and finance and be able to quickly analyze important news and identify the positive or negative implications across assets for investors, in line with our mission to make news actionable. We are seeking a writer who is succinct, fast and not afraid to take a point of view. Knowledge of accounting and corporate finance are important, along with a general understanding of what information investors need to inform their trading strategies. You should be a strong writer with deep data skills who stays on top of industry and financial markets’ trends and is able to defend your commentaries when challenged. You should have the ability to “think outside of the box” and connect specific company and market events to cross-industry and/or macro-trends with clear and brief analysis.
There are two positions available. The jobs are based in New York and report to Newswires Editor Glenn Hall.
