The right candidate will be passionate about crops, livestock and metals, as well as a broad understanding of oil and energy products, and have a sense of urgency about covering market moves.
This role will involve cultivating sources among traders and key market players to bring fresh insights that explain the swings in futures contracts. The reporter will be expected to write about the daily moves of financial markets with sharp, short-form intraday reporting as well as longer-form analysis and roundups.
Applicants should be able to file content with speed, accuracy and clarity. She or he should also be a critical thinker, able to work well both independently and in a team, receptive to feedback and open to change.
