About the job
We are looking for journalists who have expertise in a variety of areas that intersect with technology and business, including public policy, climate, entertainment, as well as the food and education industries, among others. We are looking for people that can write profiles, features and do quick turnarounds in a pinch.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the dot.LA team with daily updates on Los Angeles’ tech and startup world.
- Brainstorm and develop editorial content in support of dot.LA stories, series, podcasts, and events.
Requirements
- A strong understanding of dot.LA’s editorial voice and an interest in Los Angeles, technology, and startups.
- Experience writing news copy for the web.
- Your writing is clear, concise, and engaging
