Debtwire seeks commercial real estate reporter

Debtwire is looking to expand its U.S. commercial real estate coverage. We are looking for a real estate reporter to cover large investment deals and how they are financed.

Working on a fast-paced news desk, candidates will be expected to chase leads and publish news ahead of all other media outlets on upcoming real estate investment deals, non-securitized financing and non-performing loan sales across the US.

The role requires an analytical mind, a high attention to detail and a proactive approach to relationship development and source building in property consultancies, private equity firms, banks and real estate companies.

The role is focused on off-diary reporting and the candidate is expected to use his/her own initiative to uncover leads from market sources and produce scoops and insightful news on a regular basis.

Debtwire provides actionable intelligence for its subscribers, covering real estate deals in Europe and the US.

As part of the job, you will be required to attend industry conferences across the US.

If you are interested in this position, please send a CV, a cover letter and three writing samples to Allison.pyburn (at) debtwire.com and berterik.tencate (at) debtwire.com.
