Debtwire seeks asset-backed reporter

Debtwire ABS is seeking an experienced journalist to cover the asset-backed securities markets.

Debtwire ABS is a proprietary news and data service that provides actionable intelligence to institutional investors. Reporters are responsible for breaking daily news and identifying trends ahead of other news outlets. Our journalists are proactive in cultivating and developing industry sources.

Experience covering online consumer/marketplace lending and/or student loans will be a plus for this position. However, reporters with experience writing about other securitization markets will also be considered.

The position is based in New York, though placement in one of our regional offices may be considered for the right candidate. Please include your resume, cover letter and five to six clips that showcase your ability to develop sources among both traders and investors — and to write compelling copy that demonstrates a command of trends affecting financial markets.

Debtwire ABS is a global news service that values immediate team and broader product collaboration and innovation throughout The Mergermarket Group. The Mergermarket Group is a media company that provides the advisory, corporate and financial communities with unparalleled forward-looking intelligence, analysis and data.

Our team of over 500 specialist journalists and analysts in 65 locations around the world sets us apart, producing unparalleled proprietary intelligence and in-depth analysis for our subscribers.
