The Dallas Morning News is looking for a highly motivated reporter to cover a new business beat covering Dallas-Fort Worth’s consumer-driven local companies.

Consumer goods, auto dealers and automakers, events and hotels, tourist attractions, technology companies, educational technology firms, advertising/marketing and sports business — those are some of the arenas where this reporter should expect to play.

So what are some of the Dallas-Fort Worth companies that fall under this beat?
