Crain’s NY Business is looking for a real estate reporter to join the editorial team in covering commercial real estate in New York City, primarily Manhattan.
DUTIES:
- Develop and manage core real estate coverage by producing smart and serious news
- Cover breaking news in the field and through independent reporting
- Generate feature-length news and analysis stories for weekly print publication
- Help plan and find speakers for real estate conferences
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in either journalism or business
- 5-plus years’ experience writing commercial real estate stories
- Understanding of real estate terminology and concepts
- Strong interviewing and reporting skills
- Self-starting and critical-thinking skills
