Pitch call: Cosmopolitan is in search of original, timely feature proposals for the magazine’s late-summer TRAVEL issue. Pitch deadline: April 10.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Cosmopolitan is a media brand for young women packed with fresh and fundamental intel about what millennials truly care about. It aims to deliver content that is interesting, fearlessly authentic, and unapologetically honest.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Open to any journalistic interpretation of the theme that is 1) propelled by narrative reporting and 2) relevant to young women. “OK, but what are you looking for SPECIFICALLY?” The answer is anything! An immersive read. Related in some way to travel.
(Think: rollicking caper of a girls’ trip gone bad; a whistleblower exposé of some popular tourist practice that’s actually terrible; an absurd yet gripping account of a niche rivalry in the realm of honeymoon cruises. I don’t know. A story the world hasn’t seen yet.)
