Represent a community: Katy, Sugar Land and Missouri City
Experience required: At least 3 years of prior experience with print or digital publication(s)
Representation: Develop rapport with community leaders, business owners, elected officials
Create content daily: Inform readers online between the print editions
Generate original story ideas: You’re afforded time to develop the story beyond the story
Create complex infographics: Visuals tell a story, so a ton of time is spent on them
Take your own photographs: You’re a one-stop shop – you report, write and shoot
Wear multiple hats: Report, write and manage content
Supervise talent: Mentor at least 1 reporter in a team environment
