Columbus Business First seeks commercial real estate reporter

Columbus Business First is looking for a reporter who can marry strong traditional journalism skills – source building, sharp news judgment, interviewing prowess, strong analytical and investigative reporting, clear writing, document use – with online and social media know-how.

Whatever the platform, this reporter will produce content that is accompanied by perspective and context for a vibrant audience of business owners, executives and professionals in Columbus.

Specifically, this reporter will cover commercial real estate, which includes everything from scoops about corporate relocations and big land and lease deals, to savvy, important coverage of the executives, companies and characters who make up the region’s most important industry.
