The Colorado Times Recorder, a Denver-based progressive news site, is looking for a Washington DC freelancer. Assignments will include reporting on the Colorado congressional delegation; events, such as hearings, press conferences, ceremonies, and conferences; fundraising developments, such as FEC filings; and on political issues of importance to Colorado, including relevant breaking news. Posts will be about 500 to 1,500 words—and some longer enterprise reporting if warranted.
