Colorado Springs Business Journal seeks a reporter

The Colorado Springs Business Journal, an award-winning business-to-business publication, is seeking a curious, fearless reporter with strong writing and researching skills who can look beyond the surface of a story and provide deeper analysis.

Enterprise writing experience a plus.

Reporter will be responsible for two primary industry beats. In addition to beat reporting, they will write general news stories, content for special sections, as well as features and email blasts on a rotating basis.

Ability to hit deadlines and turn in clean copy are a must. Photography skills also a plus. Salary is negotiable.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
