CNNMoney seeks feature producer

CNNMoney is seeking a feature producer to work in its New York office.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent. Field production experience 4 years. TV/Video production 4 years. Advanced Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere editing skills. Must have sound editorial news judgment, an awareness of current business and finance news trends, the ability to produce broadcast quality video stories quickly and efficiently, strong communication skills, excellent teamwork and team-building skills. Must have strong knowledge of media law and be versed in CNN’s standards and practices, or an industry equivalent.

Duties:

CNNMoney producers develop, pitch and produce business news and feature stories for all CNN platforms. In addition to developing story ideas, this position requires frequent travel, and the ability to independently shoot, write and edit video on deadline. Producers are also responsible for publishing content to digital platforms, and promoting content through the assignment editors and social media. Develop, produce and edit feature video content for all CNN platforms. Develops and pitches feature video concepts. Shoots feature video segments with digital video cameras. Responsible for picture composition, lighting, and audio. Create digital nodes for video, writing headlines and search terms. Publish videos to digital platforms. Works with newsgathering team to promote content to TV, digital and social platforms.
